War between US and North Korea could start at Any Moment !

A war between the US and N.Korea is on the brink of breaking out, China has said in a desperate warning to the world.

It comes as speculation mounted US President Donald Trump would launch a preemptive strike on the regime before this weekend. China’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, today said something drastic would have to be done to stop the world going down an “irreversible route”.

Speaking at a joint briefing with visiting French foreign minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, he warned that whichever side started the war “must assume the historic responsibility and pay the corresponding price.”

Kim Jong-un is expected to oversee North Korea’s biggest nuclear missile test ever this weekend – something the US is reportedly planning on stopping. Intelligence officials have revealed the US placed two devices capable of firing Tomahawk missiles into the peninsula.

American bombers have also been positioned in Guam ready to strike if necessary. And the US Carl Vinson has led a fleet of warships to the peninsula, along with Japanese allies.

China itself has reportedly sent just under 200,000 troops to the North Korea border to prepare for the expected onslaught. Officials are said to be worried that a strike by the US on NK could spark waves of refugees flooding over the border.

Yesterday, the US dropped the “mother of all bombs” on Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province in a bid to wipe out ISIS militants. There are suspicions the bomb – reportedly twice the size of the nuke dropped on Hiroshima – was used to send a message to Kim Jong-un that the US is serious about taking out its enemies with firepower.

So we see that he will withdraw or retire from sight (2008-2012). But will rise back up again to power. Now this could be taken as to mean 7 kings. Or this could be taken as 7 World Governments that have ruled. So far there have been 6. 1. Egypt. 2. Assyria. 3. Babylon. 4. Medo-Persia. 5. Greece. 6. Rome – The Seventh is the United States, as Barack Obama stated in his Victory Speech on November 7th 2012 : The United States has the most powerfull military in World’s history !!!

No wonder, for the Bible says that he is the father of lies. So his policy or his success will make it possible for his deception of the world to prosper. God said that if you do not believe the truth, that he would send strong delusion that you should believe a lie.

– Revelations 13:5 He apparently assumes world dominating power 3 1/2 years after he confirms the covenant. He then will continue to reign for 42 months, or “FOUR MORE YEARS” (2012-2016).

The beginning of the “FOUR MORE YEARS” it is interesting to note, that many scholars believe that at the Abomination of Desolation is when Revelations 12:7-10 occurs. Egypt and the AntiChrist

Egyptian Christians are paying very close attention to the prophecies of Daniel 11 and Isaiah 19.

In a broad overview of this period of Greek history in the Middle East, a large portion of Daniel’s prophecy is focused upon the historical conflict between the infamous Antiochus IV Epiphanes (the eighth king of the Seleucid Kingdom in the north) and King Ptolemy VI who ruled over Egypt in the south.

The Seleucid Kingdom in the north included the region of modern-day Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran and even Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Ptolemaic Kingdom ruled Egypt and portions of modern-day Libya and Sudan. All scholars also agree that Antiochus IV Epiphanes is perhaps the most significant type of the Antichrist in the whole Bible.

And so, in the later portion of Daniel’s prophecy, the historical events and wars that took place between Antiochus IV in the north and Ptolemy VI in the south, bleed into a powerful end-time prophecy concerning the Antichrist from the region of Russia, Turkey, Syria and Iraq (the King of the North) and Iran, Egypt (the King of the South). It is clear that in Revelations they are talking about : United States (World Leader / False Prophet), Russia (World Leader / AntiChrist), Israel (Children of God) and Iran / Syria (Radical Islam) – The Final conflict will be staged by these nations, all of these nations will be involved. The path is cleared, nothing can stop Armageddon / Apocalypse after the 2012 election results …

Some teachers have argued that the King of the North is not a reference to the Antichrist, but his enemy. This view, however, make little sense and is fraught with contradictions, as it turns the flow of the entire chapter on its head, casting Antiochus IV as both a type of the Antichrist and also a type of the Antichrist’s greatest enemy. As such, most responsible interpreters throughout church history have understood the last days’ king of the north to be a reference to the Antichrist. This view was held by the early church theologians such as Hippolytus, Lactantius, Jerome and Theodoret of Cyr as well as many renowned modern commentators such as C.F. Keil, S.P. Tregelles, Clarence Larkin, Gleason L. Archer Jr., G.H. Lang, F.F. Bruce, Arthur Pink, Edward J. Young and Stephen M. Miller.

Gods judgment on the World

Next, Daniel’s prophecy informs us that Egypt will first engage the Antichrist’s northern coalition, resulting in a fierce reprisal and the complete subjugation of Egypt: At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. … He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape. (Daniel 11:40, 42)

We are also told that both Libya and Sudan (Israel bombed Sudan just weeks ago) will willingly submit to the Russian or Turkish-led Antichrist’s forces: He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt, with the Libyans and Nubians in submission. (Daniel 11:43) Finally, in the midst of many ongoing regional skirmishes and wars, the Antichrist will establish the headquarters of his regional authority, or “caliphate,” in Jerusalem: But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many. He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at the beautiful holy mountain. Yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him. (Daniel 11:44-45).

Like Daniel, Isaiah also described the coming subjugation of Egypt by the Antichrist: “I will hand the Egyptians over to the power of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them,” declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty. (Isaiah 19:4) But despite the sobering and grave warnings of what is coming to Egypt, Isaiah also prophesied concerning a powerful spiritual awakening and prayer movement with many Egyptians turning to the Lord: The LORD will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the LORD, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them. (Isaiah 19:22).

America in Bible Prophecy !

For many years, it has been taught that in the Last-Days literally every nation of the earth – including the United States – will be utterly dominated by the Antichrist; there will be no place to escape from the dreaded Mark of the Beast; every last nation of the world will come against Jerusalem. Zechariah 12 is usually used to validate the theory, as is the Apostle John. After all, the Antichrist will be given “authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation,” (Revelation 13:7).

This would seem like an ironclad case for the Antichrist ruling the globe, including the United States, which he uses in his march against Jerusalem. It is this dilemma that caused many to believe that the United States will be taken over by Antichrist. Before we attempt to solve this issue, it is necessary to clarify the dilemma. For this, we can ask a Jesus-style question: does the usage of the phrase, “the whole earth” and “every tribe, tongue and nation” in the Bible mean “the entire globe”? If so, then did Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:1 send his letter to every nation, tribe and tongue in the “entire globe”?

“Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.” (Daniel 4:1) “O king, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty and greatness and glory and splendor. Because of the high position he gave him, all the peoples and nations and men of every language dreaded and feared him,” (Daniel 5:18, 19).

Apocalypse / Revelations Information

Zechariah 14:2 “For I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for battle”
Matthew 25:32 “I will also gather all nations”
Joel 3:2 “I will gather all nations”
Such verses should not be isolated. In context, Zechariah 12 only encompasses the surrounding nations: “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves,” (Zechariah 12:2-3).
In Joel 3:12 we find the same : “Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.”
The surrounding peoples” and “all the nations of the earth” are two references pertaining to the same people; “all the nations” and “the earth” is not the entire globe, though the translation may seem to allude to it as such. The problem is that the translation at times makes it difficult since – in English – “the earth” tends to mean “the entire globe” and in Hebrew the word “Eretz” commonly means “the land” and not “the entire globe.”
Then we have the culture. In ancient Hebrew, we find a grammatical construct that makes emphatic statements in order to convey a point, whereas using hyperbole is extremely common in eastern cultures. Elaborating on the exceptions would entirely blunt the impact of the statement. For instance, imagine a speed limit sign that listed the exceptions painted on it, “speed limit 55—except ambulances, fire trucks, police giving chase, etc.” Thus, exceptions cannot be ruled out on the basis of exclusive language. This type of language is actually found quite frequently in the Bible. Throughout the prophecies of end-times the Bible is speaking of a regional war and not global (Ezekiel 36:4, 5, Psalm 79:12, Jeremiah 12:14, Ezekiel 28-32).
One common argument I always get is an objection that “the earth” is meant to be “the known world,” that today’s “known world” must then encompass the entire globe. This assumption is false since all “Four Beasts” in Daniel chapter 7 arise out of “the Great Sea” (Daniel 7:2). “The Great Sea” is the Mediterranean region, not the entire globe. That with all the literal nations of end-times encompasses only the Middle East and Asia Minor. If the first beast (Babylon), second beast (Medo-Persia) and third beast (Greece) all were out within the “Great Sea” (Mediterranean) then the fourth beast of Daniel 7 could only pertain to the Mediterranean Sea as well.
To make the Antichrist rule a global one, many western interpreters today allegorize “The Great Sea” as “the sea of humanity” In so doing, we lose the meaning and the intent of the prophecy. This reference to “The Great Sea” cannot be an allegory pertaining to the “sea of humanity” since every verse in the Bible refers to “The Great Sea” as the Mediterranean Sea / Arabian Sea or Persian Gulf Area (see Num 34:6-7, Jos 1:4, Jos 9:1, Jos 15:12, Jos 15:47, Jos 23:4, Ezek 47:10, 15, 19, 20, Ezek 48: 28).
The Bible makes every effort to clarify that the nations surrounding Israel are the ones to which it is referring : “And render unto our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord,” (Psalm 79:12). Do Israel’s “neighbors” include The United States? No. This is confirmed in many places in the Bible: “Thus Says Jehovah against all mine evil neighbors that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit,” (Jeremiah 12:14). The neighbors are all Muslim.
In the Bible, Antichrist “will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it” (Daniel 7: 23), yet several prophecies state that Antichrist will be confronted and will not take over the globe (Daniel 11:40-45, Daniel 11:30, Ezekiel 28:7-8).

So where is the United States in the Bible ?

How many ever think about this, that perhaps in the end, the United States is mentioned fighting against the Antichrist. Daniel 11 tells us that Antichrist “acts against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory” (Daniel 11:39).
Who are these “strongest fortresses” [the strongest military might]”? How could the Antichrist rule the entire globe if we have strongest fortresses that fight against him? Does he truly defeat these strongest fortresses? Does he defeat the United States? Does he rule the entire globe? The answer to this is “No.” He will get the help of the Obama Foreign Politics (Support of Arab Spring automatically helps Al-Qaida to move into power AND get chemical (Libya / Syria) and by the end nuclear warheads (Pakistan / Iran) !!!
If “No” why then do so many modern Western prophecy analysts insist that Antichrist hold the most powerful military might in the world? Which nations hold the strongest military might? Is it not the United States? Yes, but he will not get military help, by the time Obama’s Foreign Plan is completed he (Antichrist) will not need the military help, at the moment the US Military is not the Super-Power it ones was during the Reagan Administration.
The text regarding end-times is clearly portraying what we see in Islam today. Even when we read that he declares war “against the strongest fortresses.” What could that mean except what it plainly says—to declare war against the most powerful nations on earth? Jihadists already declared war on Europe and the U.S. And now with the Arab Spring clearly becoming an “Islamic Summer” soon, we see that what we have said to you years ago in advance; everything is happening in accordance to a plan. The second term of President Obama is the most important move of Satan ever made during the period of “Free Will” in the history of humankind.
However, the West today seems oblivious to this fact. Who else could be as maniacal as Muslim fundamentalists to declare war on the powerful West? Who else is deceiving the West with false peace saying that ‘Islam is a peaceful religion’? And it is all for the purpose of advancing their god, Allah.

Yes, NOT 4 MORE YEARS but 3,5 MORE YEARS – The position that every nation will fall to Antichrist is impossible since the Bible clearly states that some will even resist the Antichrist and even defeat him. The verses are rarely discussed. In Ezekiel 28, it even confirms that the most powerful nations (strongest fortresses), including the United States on earth will annihilate the Antichrist but NOT under Obama’s Leadership :

“Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of [them that are] slain in the midst of the seas.” (Ezekiel 28:7-8).
“They” pertains to these powerful nations and the term “terrible” implies to being “terrible in battle,” “most powerful,” “strongest fortresses.” God will rise up several nations who will carry out His judgment and attack the Antichrist in the end.
Therefore, it cannot be true that every nation of the globe will fall to the Antichrist and attack Israel. There have always been attempts to establish a One-World Government, yet they have never succeeded; far too many in the West fail to remember that God divided the nations after the Tower of Babel to never allow them to be one; even in the Millennium we will still have nations separated. This promise is as the rainbow for Noah.
Too many today read the Bible narcissistically. Many books have been written that place the West at the center of prophecy and interpret history through a Western-centric lens. Far too many Westerners have missed the obvious fact that the Bible is thoroughly Middle Eastern. In the Biblical worldview, Jerusalem is the center of the earth, not Europe or America. The biblical prophecies about the End-Times are no different.

“Putting an end to the Zionist regime’s crimes is only possible through a united, revolutionary retaliation by the Muslim world,” Vahidi said in remarks carried by the official IRNA news agency. Israel is “massacring the oppressed Palestinian people, including women and children” and its strikes amount to a “clear example of war crimes,” the defense minister charged.

Israel launched a concerted air campaign, dubbed Operation Pillar of Defense, against the densely populated territory on Wednesday with the stated aim of halting regular rocket fire out of Gaza that has disrupted life across southern Israel. Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, whose country is a key backer of Hamas, on Thursday urged the United Nations and European Union to pressure Israel to halt its offensive, saying the security of the Middle East was at stake. Salehi has also announced his readiness to visit Gaza.

Speaking to exiled Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal on the telephone, Salehi said Iran was ready to send “medical and medicinal aids” to Gaza, the official IRNA news agency reported. On Saturday, media reports said Iran was preparing to dispatch a parliamentary delegation to the Palestinian territory. The foreign ministry is “talking with Egyptian officials to facilitate the visit through Rafah,” a terminal at Gaza’s southwestern border with Egypt, according to MP Mansour Haqiqatpour. Previous attempts by Iran’s hardline parliament to dispatch a team into Gaza failed during the rule of former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak.

Nuclear War in the Middle East !

In those first minutes, they’ll be stunned. Eyes fixed in a thousand-yard stare, nerve endings numbed. They’ll just stand there. Soon, you’ll notice that they are holding their arms out at a 45-degree angle. Your eyes will be drawn to their hands and you’ll think you mind is playing tricks. But it won’t be. Their fingers will start to resemble stalactites, seeming to melt toward the ground. And it won’t be long until the screaming begins. Shrieking. Moaning. Tens of thousands of victims at once. They’ll be standing amid a sea of shattered concrete and glass, a wasteland punctuated by the shells of buildings, orphaned walls, stairways leading nowhere.

This could be Tehran, or what’s left of it, just after an Israeli nuclear strike. Iranian cities – owing to geography, climate, building construction, and population densities – are particularly vulnerable to nuclear attack, according to a new study, “Nuclear War Between Israel and Iran: Lethality Beyond the Pale,” published in the journal Conflict and Health by researchers from the University of Georgia and Harvard University. It is the first publicly released scientific assessment of what a nuclear attack in the Middle East might actually mean for people in the region.

Its scenarios are staggering. An Israeli attack on the Iranian capital of Tehran using five 500-kiloton weapons would, the study estimates, kill seven million people – 86% of the population – and leave close to 800,000 wounded. A strike with five 250-kiloton weapons would kill an estimated 5.6 million and injure 1.6 million, according to predictions made using an advanced software package designed to calculate mass casualties from a nuclear detonation.

Estimates of the civilian toll in other Iranian cities are even more horrendous. A nuclear assault on the city of Arak, the site of a heavy water plant central to Iran’s nuclear program, would potentially kill 93% of its 424,000 residents. Three 100-kiloton nuclear weapons hitting the Persian Gulf port of Bandar Abbas would slaughter an estimated 94% of its 468,000 citizens, leaving just 1% of the population uninjured. A multi-weapon strike on Kermanshah, a Kurdish city with a population of 752,000, would result in an almost unfathomable 99.9% casualty rate.

Cham Dallas, the director of the Institute for Health Management and Mass Destruction Defense at the University of Georgia and lead author of the study, says that the projections are the most catastrophic he’s seen in more than 30 years analyzing weapons of mass destruction and their potential effects. “The fatality rates are the highest of any nuke simulation I’ve ever done,” he told me by phone from the nuclear disaster zone in Fukushima, Japan, where he was doing research. “It’s the perfect storm for high fatality rates”.

Israel has never confirmed or denied possessing nuclear weapons, but is widely known to have up to several hundred nuclear warheads in its arsenal. Iran has no nuclear weapons and its leaders claim that its nuclear program is for peaceful civilian purposes only. Published reports suggest that American intelligence agencies and Israel’s intelligence service are in agreement: Iran suspended its nuclear weapons development program in 2003.

Dallas and his colleagues nonetheless ran simulations for potential Iranian nuclear strikes on the Israeli cities of Beer Sheva, Haifa, and Tel Aviv using much smaller 15-kiloton weapons, similar in strength to those dropped by the United States on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945. Their analyses suggest that, in Beer Shiva, half of the population of 209,000 would be killed and one-sixth injured. Haifa would see similar casualty ratios, including 40,000 trauma victims. A strike on Tel Aviv with two 15-kiloton weapons would potentially slaughter 17% of the population – nearly 230,000 people. Close to 150,000 residents would likely be injured.

These forecasts, like those for Iranian cities, are difficult even for experts to assess. “Obviously, accurate predictions of casualty and fatality estimates are next to impossible to obtain,” says Dr Glen Reeves, a longtime consultant on the medical effects of radiation for the Defense Department’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency, who was not involved in the research. “I think their estimates are probably high but not impossibly so”.

According to Paul Carroll of the Ploughshares Fund, a San Francisco-based foundation that advocates for nuclear disarmament, “the results would be catastrophic” if major Iranian cities were attacked with modern nuclear weapons. “I don’t see 75% [fatality rates as] being out of the question,” says Carroll, after factoring in the longer-term effects of radiation sickness, burns, and a devastated medical infrastructure.

According to Dallas and his colleagues, the marked disparity between estimated fatalities in Israel and Iran can be explained by a number of factors. As a start, Israel is presumed to have extremely powerful nuclear weapons and sophisticated delivery capabilities including long-range Jericho missiles, land-based cruise missiles, submarine-launched missiles, and advanced aircraft with precision targeting technology.

The nature of Iranian cities also makes them exceptionally vulnerable to nuclear attack, according to the Conflict & Health study. Tehran, for instance, is home to 50% of Iran’s industry, 30% of its public sector workers, and 50 colleges and universities. As a result, 12 million people live in or near the capital, most of them clustered in its core. Like most Iranian cities, Tehran has little urban sprawl, meaning residents tend to live and work in areas that would be subject to maximum devastation and would suffer high%ages of fatalities due to trauma as well as thermal burns caused by the flash of heat from an explosion.

Iran’s topography, specifically mountains around cities, would obstruct the dissipation of the blast and heat from a nuclear explosion, intensifying the effects. Climatic conditions, especially high concentrations of airborne dust, would likely exacerbate thermal and radiation casualties as well as wound infections.

Nuclear horror : Then and now

The first nuclear attack on a civilian population center, the US strike on Hiroshima, left that city “uniformly and extensively devastated,” according to a study carried out in the wake of the attacks by the US Strategic Bombing Survey.

“Practically the entire densely or moderately built-up portion of the city was leveled by blast and swept by fire … The surprise, the collapse of many buildings, and the conflagration contributed to an unprecedented casualty rate”. At the time, local health authorities reported that 60% of immediate deaths were due to flash or flame burns and medical investigators estimated that 15%-20% of the deaths were caused by radiation.

Witnesses “stated that people who were in the open directly under the explosion of the bomb were so severely burned that the skin was charred dark brown or black and that they died within a few minutes or hours,” according to the 1946 report. “Among the survivors, the burned areas of the skin showed evidence of burns almost immediately after the explosion. At first there was marked redness, and other evidence of thermal burns appeared within the next few minutes or hours”.

Many victims kept their arms outstretched because it was too painful to allow them to hang at their sides and rub against their bodies. One survivor recalled seeing victims “with both arms so severely burned that all the skin was hanging from their arms down to their nails, and others having faces swollen like bread, losing their eyesight. It was like ghosts walking in procession … Some jumped into a river because of their serious burns. The river was filled with the wounded and blood”.

The number of fatalities at Hiroshima has been estimated at 140,000. A nuclear attack on Nagasaki three days later is thought to have killed 70,000. Today, according to Dallas, 15-kiloton nuclear weapons of the type used on Japan are referred to by experts as “firecracker nukes” due to their relative weakness.

In addition to killing more than 5.5 million people, a strike on Tehran involving five 250-kiloton weapons – each of them 16 times more powerful than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima – would result in an estimated 803,000 third-degree burn victims, with close to 300,000 others suffering second degree burns, and 750,000 to 880,000 people severely exposed to radiation. “Those people with thermal burns over most of their bodies we can’t help,” says Dallas.

“Most of these people are not going to survive … there is no saving them. They’ll be in intense agony”. As you move out further from the site of the blast, he says, “it actually gets worse. As the damage decreases, the pain increases, because you’re not numb”.

In a best case scenario, there would be 1,000 critically injured victims for every surviving doctor but “it will probably be worse,” according to Dallas. Whatever remains of Tehran’s healthcare system will be inundated with an estimated 1.5 million trauma sufferers. In a feat of understatement, the researchers report that survivors “presenting with combined injuries including either thermal burns or radiation poisoning are unlikely to have favorable outcomes”.

Iranian government officials did not respond to a request for information about how Tehran would cope in the event of a nuclear attack. When asked if the US military could provide humanitarian aid to Iran after such a strike, a spokesman for Central Command, whose area of responsibility includes the Middle East, was circumspect. “US Central Command plans for a wide range of contingencies to be prepared to provide options to the Secretary of Defense and the President,” he told this reporter.

The future of 2023 is gloomy, according to a French astrologer whose prophecies from over 500 years ago have proven disturbingly accurate. Michel de Nostradame, better known by his pen name Nostradamus, published his now-famous book Les Prophéties in 1555. The book contains 942 prophecies that seem to anticipate some horrifying occurrences.

The assertions of the 16th century physician are justifiably viewed with scepticism by some, yet there have been times when his forecasts came disturbingly near to reality, with striking parallels to events like the Great Fire of London, Hitler’s reign of terror, and September 11. It is widely believed that Nostradamus foretold both the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the French Revolution.

However, the Mirror says that there are some of Nostradamus’s prophecies that might come true in 2023. Nostradamus predicts that 2022 will be a miserable year due to the impending cost-of-living problem and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, but 2023 will be no better.

Great war

In 2023, “a major conflict” is one of the most prominent forecasts. The present crisis between Ukraine and Russia, which might grow to World War III next year, may be the inspiration for this prophecy. At first glance, a seven-month timescale for the war could sound like good news, but considering the frightening nuclear arsenals of nations like the United States and Russia, it’s probably better to take the prognosis with a grain of salt. The prophecy also states that the French city of Rouen will be secure in the case of WW3, implying that Paris might be in danger.

Fire from heavens

The astrologer Nostradamus predicts a “Celestial fire on the Royal building” in another of his writings. This prediction, however, is even more ominous than the burning of the royal palace. Doomsday, sometimes known as the “end of times,” is consistently associated with a conflagration in the Bible. The new global order that rises from the ruins of the old is said to spell the end of history as we know it.

Landing on Mars

Nostradamus made cryptic allusions to the “light on mars descending” in his book of prophecies. In this case, the planet’s apparent backward motion in the sky may be attributed to its entering retrograde motion. As an alternative, it might be a metaphor for humankind’s attempts to colonise the Earth. Elon Musk, creator of SpaceX and just acquired Twitter, has long predicted that humanity would set foot on Mars by 2029. One of the world’s wealthiest men has spoken publicly about his desire to settle Mars before the decade’s end.

Economic crisis

Worldwide economic turmoil has ensued in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Predictions of desperation and unrest as a result of rising prices for necessities are implied by this analysis of past crises. Nostradamus predicts that by the year 2023, British consumers would be hit by a cost of living crisis brought on by rising energy costs, inflation, and food prices.

Climate change

Global warming is not a new issue, but Nostradamus predicts that temperatures will continue to rise and sea levels will rise in 2023. Is 2023 the year when the world’s temperatures finally hit a critical level, as shown by rising sea levels and the emergence of food chain complications.

Civil unrest

Civil unrest is likely to increase in 2023 as a result of the rising cost of living and global warming. In response to the deteriorating economy, this forecast indicates that the populace may rise up in rebellion against the affluent. A second quatrain suggests that the rich may have to brace themselves for acts of violence and strife.

A time will come when Russia will be torn apart. First they will split her up, then they will start to plunder her wealth. The coronavirus epidemic in the UK will last until next spring and could lead to 7.9 million people being hospitalised, a secret Public Health England (PHE) briefing for senior NHS officials reveals.

The document, seen by the Guardian, is the first time health chiefs tackling the virus have admitted that they expect it to circulate for 12 more months and lead to huge extra strain on an already overstretched NHS.

It also suggests that health chiefs are braced for as many as 80% of Britons becoming infected with the coronavirus over that time.

Prof Chris Whitty, the government’s chief medical adviser, has previously described that figure as the worst-case scenario and suggested that the real number would turn out to be less than that. However, the briefing makes clear that four in five of the population “are expected” to contract the virus.

The document says that: “As many as 80% of the population are expected to be infected with Covid-19 in the next 12 months, and up to 15% (7.9 million people) may require hospitalisation.”

The briefing sets out the latest official thinking about how severely the infection could affect both the public’s health and that of personnel in critical services such as the NHS, police, the fire brigade and transport.

It has been drawn up in recent days by PHE’s emergency preparedness and response team and approved as accurate by Dr Susan Hopkins, PHE’s lead official dealing with the outbreak. It has been shared with hospital bosses and senior doctors in the NHS in Engand.

“For the public to hear that it could last for 12 months, people are going to be really upset about that and pretty worried about that”, said Paul Hunter, a professor of medicine at the University of East Anglia. “A year is entirely plausible. But that figure isn’t well appreciated or understood,” added Hunter, an expert in epidemiology.

“I think it will dip in the summer, towards the end of June, and come back in November, in the way that usual seasonal flu does. I think it will be around forever, but become less severe over time, as immunity builds up,” he added.

The admission that the virus will continue to cause problems for another year appears to undermine hopes that the arrival of warmer weather this summer would kill it.

The document also discloses that an estimated 500,000 of the 5 million people deemed vital because they work “in essential services and critical infrastructure” will be off sick at any one time during a month-long peak of the epidemic. The 5 million include 1m NHS staff and 1.5 million in social care.

However, the briefing raises questions about how Britain would continue to function normally, warning that: “It is estimated that at least 10% of people in the UK will have a cough at any one time during the months of peak Covid-19 activity.” Under revised health advice Boris Johnson unveiled last Thursday, anyone with a cough should self-isolate for at least seven days.

The document also states that:

The health service cannot cope with the sheer number of people with symptoms who need to be tested because laboratories are “under significant demand pressures”.
From now on only the very seriously ill who are already in hospital and people in care homes and prisons where the coronavirus has been detected will get tested.
Testing services are under such strain that even NHS staff will not be swabbed, despite their key role and the risk of them passing the virus on to patients.

A senior NHS figure involved in preparing for the growing “surge” in patients whose lives are being put at risk by Covid-19 said an 80% infection rate could lead to more than half a million people dying.

If the mortality rate turns out to be the 1% many experts are using as their working assumption then that would mean 531,100 deaths. But if Whitty’s insistence that the rate will be closer to 0.6% proves accurate, then that would involve 318,660 people dying.

Experts advising governments worldwide on the way epidemics grow and eventually decline say there will be a rapid rise in cases to a peak – and then a falling off. Whitty, who has seen the modelling done by UK and global scientists, says the case numbers will go up fast over the next 10 to 14 weeks.

That will mean a peak at around the end of May to mid-June, when the NHS will be under great pressure. The strategy of all countries is to delay that peak and stretch it out over a longer period of time, so that health services are better able to cope. There is also the possibility that new treatments will be available by then.

After the peak, case numbers and deaths are expected to drop for 10 weeks or more, until they reach a fairly low level, which may not be zero. In the summer months especially, the case numbers are expected to reduce because people spend more time out of doors and are less likely to be confined at close quarters in small rooms in a house or office with people who are infected.

There is still a worry that the virus could resurge in the autumn or winter months, which means planning for the long term will be necessary. Until a vaccine is developed, perhaps in 18 months, health planners cannot be sure of being able to protect people from the disease.

PROPHECIES

Prophecy is a process in which one or more messages that have been communicated to a prophet are then communicated to others. Such messages typically involve divine inspiration, interpretation, or revelation of conditioned events to come (cf. divine knowledge) as well as testimonies or repeated revelations that the world is divine. The process of prophecy especially involves reciprocal communication of the prophet with the (divine) source of the messages. Throughout history, clairvoyance has commonly been used and associated with prophecy.

Various concepts of prophecy are found throughout all of the world’s religions and cults. To a certain degree prophecy can be an integral concept within any religion or cult. The term has found deep usage in the Abrahamic religions, including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Baha’i and Mormonism along with many others.

Definitions of Prophecy

Rabbinic scholar Maimonides, suggested that “prophecy is, in truth and reality, an emanation sent forth by Divine Being through the medium of the Active Intellect, in the first instance to man’s rational faculty, and then to his imaginative faculty. The former closely relates to the definition by Al-Fârâbî who developed the theory of prophecy in Islam.^The Catholic Encyclopedia defines a Christian conception of prophecy as “understood in its strict sense, it means the foreknowledge of future events, though it may sometimes apply to past events of which there is no memory, and to present hidden things which cannot be known by the natural light of reason. From a skeptical point of view, there is a Latin maxim: prophecy written after the fact vaticinium ex eventu.
