Ezekiel Bible Prophecy and World War III

EZEKIEL BIBLE PROPHECY AND WORLD WAR III

God warns Iran (Persia), with Russia (Magog), and a coalition of allies (including Turkey, Libya, and Sudan) will attack and will invade Israel.  In Ezekiel 38-39 the Bible warns this coming war between Iran (Persia) and Israel will take place sometime after Israel has been re-gathered into Her land as a nation (which was fulfilled on May 14, 1948) …  this prophetic war has never yet taken place … the only time in history Persia (Iran) has ever gone to war against Israel was to help Israel throw off the yoke of the Byzantine Empire around 614 AD.

EDGAR CAYCE : IF” THERE WILL BE A WORLD WAR III – IT WILL START IN DAMASCUS (SYRIA) !

This War will be unlike any other war in history … this war will unleash a series of irreversible events which will change the world  forever.  God has set aside two whole chapters in the Bible to warn Mankind of this coming war.

The Bible warns the US will not or cannot defend Israel.  According to the Bible, Israel must stand alone … with God. For when this coming war does finally start, the United States will be unwilling (or unable) to help Israel defend herself.  Even though the Bible warns the invading armies will be ultimately destroyed by God, it will be a devastating war for both Israel and the whole world.  Bible scholars are divided as to whether this coming war is part of the prophetic battle of Armageddon or will just precede Armageddon in order to prepare a path for the Antichrist (a coming World Leader who will  enforce a Peace Plan (“covenant”) upon Israel) which will trigger the final  prophetic 7-Year period of time which God has set aside for Israel and the World which is sometimes called the “Apocalypse”. Ezekiel Bible Prophecy and World War III

EDGAR CAYCETHE “HOPE OF THE WORLD” WILL BE IN THE HANDS OF RUSSIA !

All people of the World should be sitting on the edge of their seats with white knuckles watching this terrible prophecy slowly start to unfold … while those who call themselves Christians (followers … both Jew and Gentile … of Jesus (Yeshua), the promised Messiah) are told to “examine” themselves in the Word and in their faith to insure they are not just ‘almost’ Christians (Matthew 7:21-23) who are “lukewarm” in their faith in Jesus (Yeshua) and God’s Word (Revelation 3:14-16) … for Jesus warns all to, “Watch, therefore, and pray always (not just sometimes), that you will be counted worthy (through His  worthiness) to escape all these things (the terrible events of the coming ‘Apocalypse’) that will come to pass” … (Luke 21:36) … for the Bible promises believing Christians (faithful and sincere believers in  Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha’Mashiach in Hebrew) who are alive at that time and have endured in their faith in God’s Word are  not “appointed” to this coming time of “God’s wrath” that will be “poured out” upon the “whole world”… (1 Thessalonians  1:10 … 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11)

EZEKIEL 38:1-10

“Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Son of man, set your face against Gog  (a powerful leader), of the land of Magog  (translated ‘Scythia’ in Greek .. the area of  modern day Russia), the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal (Meshech and Tubal are in and around Turkey) and prophesy against him, and say…

BABA VANGA : WORLD WAR III WILL START IN NOVEMBER 2010 (START OF ARAB SPRING) !

Thus says the Lord GOD :

‘Behold, I am against you, O Gog  (a powerful human or dark-angelic leader behind Russia), the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.  (Turkey) I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws (Israel’s Leviathan gas fields, mutual defense treaty, or UN effort) and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords (weapons). (Ezekiel Bible Prophecy and World War III)

(The Russian army will march again) Persia (IRAN), (Iran is listed first, meaning it will be the ‘lead’ ally) Ethiopia (Sudan …”Cush”), and Libya (northern Africa) are with them, all of them with shield and helmet. Gomer and all its troops;  (Germany-France, eastern Europe, or “Galatia”- Turkey) the house of Togarmah (Armenia) from the far north and all its troops – many people are with you. (NATO member Turkey will join this coalition) Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them.    (Russia will act as a “guard” … and supplier of weapons) After many days  you will be visited. (Meaning, this would happen far from Ezekiel’s time) In the latter years you (Russia-Iran-Turkey) will come into the land of those brought back from the sword  (Israel!) and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate  (this war will take place after Israel became a nation in 1948) they (the children of Israel) were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. You will ascend, coming like a storm,  (they may attack from the air, or from the south, or both) covering the land (of Israel) like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.” (Ezekiel 38:1-10)

World War III 2013 - www.alamongordo.com

THE BIBLE WARNS RUSSIA WILL ALSO ACT AS A GUARD FOR SYRIA AND IRAN

“Prepare yourself  (Russia  – “Magog”) and be ready, you (Russia) and all your companies (allies) that are gathered about you (SYRIA – IRAN);  and be a  GUARD for them.” (“Them” is Iran,  Turkey, and the other allies listed)  (Ezekiel 38:7)  A “guard” protects, defends, blocks threats of “international sanctions”…  and provides weapons, technology, intelligence, command, and control … and often stays quietly hidden in the shadows until the time is right.

EZEKIEL 38:11-17

‘Thus says the Lord GOD:  “On that Day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: You (the one who leads Russia) will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; (the cities in Israel are no longer ‘walled’) I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ to take plunder and to take booty,      (Greed, envy, and arrogance will fuel this invasion) to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, (look at Israel today) and against a people gathered from the nations,  (this will take place after 1948!) who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the end.

Ezekiel Bible Prophecy and World War III

Sheba (Saudi Arabia), Dedan (Kuwait), (Saudi Arabia and Kuwait will not join this invasion) the merchants of Tarshish (may be England), all their young lions (may be former colonies like Canada, Australia, and the US) will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? (Greed, envy, and arrogance will fuel this invasion …) Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder? “Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, (“Gog” is either the powerful angelic being or a powerful human  leader of “Magog” … Russia!) Thus says the Lord GOD: On that Day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know  it?

Then you will come from your place out of the far NORTH, (literally “uttermost parts of the North” … take a globe and look “FAR north” of Israel) you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. You will come up against My (God’s) people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I (God) will bring you against My Land (Israel), so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”   (For God will destroy this invading army …)

Thus says the Lord GOD: “Are you (Gog) he of whom I have spoken in former days (Prophecy fulfilled!) by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days  that I (God) would bring you against them?” (Ezekiel 38:11-17)

EZEKIEL 38:18-23

“And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that MY fury will show in My face. For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the Earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’

I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord GOD. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. (The invading armies will be decimated by God!) Thus I (God) will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 38:18-23)

THE TIME HAS COME !

We are not exactly sure when this attack/invasion will take place but, from current news headlines, it looks as though it is now getting very close.  As noted above, if you study your history books you will find the only time in history Iran (Persia) has invaded Israel was in 614 AD, and this invasion was to help Israel break the yoke of the Byzantine Empire.

The current threats of war the US and NATO members are making against Syria and Iran will involve Russia, China and … Israel represent  the first time in history the world has seen the imminent fulfillment of this prophecy.  Add the fact Russia is fully backing Iran and Syria will quickly turn against Israel when the US will attack, and all of these nations either are, or soon will be, armed with nuclear weapons, you will find the world may soon be facing this terrible prophetic war.

armageddon_Israel_2013-2014 http://www.alamongordo.com

THE INVADING ARMIES WILL BE DESTROYED

In Ezekiel 39 the Bible goes on to warn the invading armies will be utterly destroyed … by GOD!  Also in Ezekiel 39 there are hints this coming war may go nuclear because Israel will wait months to enter the battlefield after the battle, they will “set apart men regularly employed” (professionals) to bury the dead, and later if a bone is spotted it is to be “marked” for the professionals to bury (exactly the same procedures that are now found in our military nuclear – biological – chemical “battlefield cleanup” manuals today) … the aftermath of this invasion will be very, very gruesome.

Some scholars feel it must be part of, or the beginning of “The Battle of Armageddon” (because of some of the terminology used), and others believe it must happen sometime before Armageddon and will set the stage for the coming “Antichrist” (who will rise over 10 nations which were part of the Roman Empire) to fill the world power vacuum that will be left after this coming war. The United States will be “neutralized” sometime before this attack and will be unwilling or unable to help defend Israel, for the Bible warns Israel must stand alone … with God! More importantly, many good Bible prophecy scholars believe the strange prophetic event called  “The Rapture” must take place sometime before this coming battle.

Ezekiel Bible Prophecy and World War III

Many people will simply yawn and ignore these Bible prophecies and the headlines we are now seeing. Yet, God does NOT fulfill His prophecies or prophetic warnings in secret, but so all the world can see.  For many years now a number of Bible prophecy teachers and scholars have been warning the one piece of the puzzle missing was for Turkey (a NATO ally-nation) to turn toward Russia and Iran and against Israel (as this prophecy predicts.) The world has waited over 2,500 years to see the headlines we are now seeing …

This prophetic war between Iran and Israel has never yet taken place … and it is very much a part of the coming “Apocalypse” and Armageddon scenario.  God has been warning and preparing this generation for this coming war for well over 10 years … and the headlines concerning this coming war can now be found almost daily all around the world.

God is trying to get our attention and to draw those who are His back to Him before it is too late.  With open arms and with tears of joy God promises to welcome and to shelter and comfort ALL who will come to Him before these events take place (or before their earthly bodies die) … yet, the Bible warns God will not mourn, nor have mercy, on those who reject and ignore and mock His Word and His warnings. The Book Of Daniel

The Book Of Daniel

Apocalyptic visions in Daniel : The four visions of chapters seven to twelve are an early example of apocalyptic literature and, in contrast to the earlier chapters, are introduced in the first person. One feature of this section is Daniel’s reliance on heavenly figures to interpret and explain his visions. The historical setting of the first chapters does not appear, except in the form of regnal dates. Chapter seven is written in Aramaic while chapters eight to twelve are in Hebrew.

The “apocalyptic” sections of Daniel consist of three visions and one lengthened prophetic communication focusing on the destiny of Israel :

  • Vision of the great beasts

The vision in the first year of Belshazzar the king of Babylon (7:1) concerning four great beasts (7:3) representing four future kings (7:17) or kingdoms (7:23), the fourth of which devours the whole earth, treading it down and crushing it (7:23); this fourth kingdom is represented by a beast with ten horns representing ten kings, followed by a further wicked king who subdues three of the ten (7:24), speaks against the Most High and the saints of the Most High, and intends to change the times and the law (7:25); after ‘a time and times and half a time’, this person is judged and his dominion is taken away (7:26); finally, the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven are given to the people of the saints of the Most High (7:27)

  • Vision of sanctuary elements

The vision in the third year of Belshazzar concerning a ram and a male goat (8:1-27) which, we are informed, represent Media, Persia (the ram’s two horns), and Greece (the goat). The goat with a mighty horn becomes very powerful until the horn breaks off to be replaced by four “lesser’ horns. The vision focuses on a wicked king who arises to challenge the “army of the Lord” by removing the daily temple sacrifice and desecrating the sanctuary for a period of “twenty three hundred evening/mornings”. Rams, goats and horns were used in the service of the sanctuary.

  • The prophecy of seventy weeks

The vision in first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus (9:1) concerning seventy weeks, or seventy “sevens”, apportioned for the history of the Israelites and of Jerusalem (9:24) This consists of a meditation on the prediction in Jeremiah that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years, a lengthy prayer by Daniel in which he pleads for God to restore Jerusalem and its temple, and an angelic explanation which focuses on a longer time period – “seventy sevens” – and a future restoration and destruction of city and temple by a coming ruler.

  • The vision of the kings

A lengthy vision (10:1 – 12:13) in the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, regarding conflicts between the “King of the North” and the “King of the South” (= Egypt, 11:8). Starting with references to Persia and Greece it, again, culminates in the description of an arrogant king who desecrates the temple, sets up a “desolating abomination”, removes the daily sacrifice, and persecutes those who remain true to the “holy covenant”. Yet the saints receive God’s kingdom.

The prophetic and eschatological visions of Daniel, with those of Ezekiel and Isaiah, are the scriptural inspiration for much of the apocalyptic ideology and symbolism of the Qumran community’s Dead Sea scrolls and the early literature of Christianity. “Daniel’s clear association with the Maccabean Uprising and those against Rome are a possible factor in the eventual downgrading of it, to include a redefinition of the role of prophet, keeping in mind that at roughly this time the Hebrew canon was being evaluated and adopted. (Eisenman 1997, p 19f).

In Daniel are the first references to a “kingdom of God”, and the most overt reference to the resurrection of the dead in the Tanakh.

America in Bible Prophecy !

America in Bible Prophecy !

For many years, it has been taught that in the Last-Days literally every nation of the earth – including the United States – will be utterly dominated by the Antichrist; there will be no place to escape from the dreaded Mark of the Beast; every last nation of the world will come against Jerusalem. Zechariah 12 is usually used to validate the theory, as is the Apostle John. After all, the Antichrist will be given “authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation,” (Revelation 13:7).

This would seem like an ironclad case for the Antichrist ruling the globe, including the United States, which he uses in his march against Jerusalem. It is this dilemma that caused many to believe that the United States will be taken over by Antichrist.

Before we attempt to solve this issue, it is necessary to clarify the dilemma. For this, we can ask a Jesus-style question: does the usage of the phrase, “the whole earth” and “every tribe, tongue and nation” in the Bible mean “the entire globe”? If so, then did Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4:1 send his letter to every nation, tribe and tongue in the “entire globe”?

“Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.” (Daniel 4:1) “O king, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty and greatness and glory and splendor. Because of the high position he gave him, all the peoples and nations and men of every language dreaded and feared him,” (Daniel 5:18, 19).

How about

“Men of all nations came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, sent by all the kings of the world, who had heard of his wisdom,” (I Kings 4:34) Did anyone visit Solomon from China?

How about… “Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt,” (2 Kings 17:29). Did the inhabitants of every last nation of the earth have Samaritan gods in their homes?

How about… “the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries.” Isaiah 37:18 Did King Sennacherib of Assyria actually destroy all nations on the face of the earth?

How about… “As I was considering, suddenly a male goat came from the west, across the surface of the whole earth,” (Daniel 8:5). Did Alexander the Great occupy the whole earth? So then, let us offer a new perspective regarding the end-times verses :

  • Zechariah 14:2 “For I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for battle”
  • Matthew 25:32 “I will also gather all nations”
  • Joel 3:2 “I will gather all nations”

Such verses should not be isolated. In context, Zechariah 12 only encompasses the surrounding nations: “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves,” (Zechariah 12:2-3).

In Joel 3:12 we find the same : “Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.”

“The surrounding peoples” and “all the nations of the earth” are two references pertaining to the same people; “all the nations” and “the earth” is not the entire globe, though the translation may seem to allude to it as such. The problem is that the translation at times makes it difficult since – in English – “the earth” tends to mean “the entire globe” and in Hebrew the word “Eretz” commonly means “the land” and not “the entire globe.”

Then we have the culture. In ancient Hebrew, we find a grammatical construct that makes emphatic statements in order to convey a point, whereas using hyperbole is extremely common in eastern cultures. Elaborating on the exceptions would entirely blunt the impact of the statement. For instance, imagine a speed limit sign that listed the exceptions painted on it, “speed limit 55—except ambulances, fire trucks, police giving chase, etc.” Thus, exceptions cannot be ruled out on the basis of exclusive language. This type of language is actually found quite frequently in the Bible. Throughout the prophecies of end-times the Bible is speaking of a regional war and not global (Ezekiel 36:4, 5, Psalm 79:12, Jeremiah 12:14, Ezekiel 28-32).

One common argument I always get is an objection that “the earth” is meant to be “the known world,” that today’s “known world” must then encompass the entire globe. This assumption is false since all “Four Beasts” in Daniel chapter 7 arise out of “the Great Sea” (Daniel 7:2). “The Great Sea” is the Mediterranean region, not the entire globe. That with all the literal nations of end-times encompasses only the Middle East and Asia Minor. If the first beast (Babylon), second beast (Medo-Persia) and third beast (Greece) all were out within the “Great Sea” (Mediterranean) then the fourth beast of Daniel 7 could only pertain to the Mediterranean Sea as well.

To make the Antichrist rule a global one, many western interpreters today allegorize “The Great Sea” as “the sea of humanity.” In so doing, we lose the meaning and the intent of the prophecy. This reference to “The Great Sea” cannot be an allegory pertaining to the “sea of humanity” since every verse in the Bible refers to “The Great Sea” as the Mediterranean Sea (see Num 34:6-7, Jos 1:4, Jos 9:1, Jos 15:12, Jos 15:47, Jos 23:4, Ezek 47:10, 15, 19, 20, Ezek 48: 28).

The Bible makes every effort to clarify that the nations surrounding Israel are the ones to which it is referring : “And render unto our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord,” (Psalm 79:12). Do Israel’s “neighbors” include The United States? No. This is confirmed in many places in the Bible:

“Thus Says Jehovah against all mine evil neighbors that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit,” (Jeremiah 12:14). The neighbors are all Muslim.

In the Bible, Antichrist “will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it” (Daniel 7: 23), yet several prophecies state that Antichrist will be confronted and will not take over the globe (Daniel 11:40-45, Daniel 11:30, Ezekiel 28:7-8). So where is the United States in the Bible? How many ever think about this, that perhaps in the end, the United States is mentioned fighting against the Antichrist. Daniel 11 tells us that Antichrist “acts against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory” (Daniel 11:39).

Who are these “strongest fortresses” [the strongest military might]”? How could the Antichrist rule the entire globe if we have strongest fortresses that fight against him? Does he truly defeat these strongest fortresses? Does he defeat the United States? Does he rule the entire globe? The answer to this is “No.”

Why then do so many modern Western prophecy analysts insist that Antichrist hold the most powerful military might in the world? Which nations hold the strongest military might? Is it not the United States?

The text regarding end-times is clearly portraying what we see in Islam today. Even when we read that he declares war “against the strongest fortresses.” What could that mean except what it plainly says—to declare war against the most powerful nations on earth? Jihadists already declared war on Europe and the U.S. And now with the Arab Spring clearly becoming an Islamic storm, we see that what we have said to you years ago in advance; everything is happening in accordance to a plan.

However, the West today seems oblivious to this fact. Who else could be as maniacal as Muslim fundamentalists to declare war on the powerful West? Who else is deceiving the West with false peace saying that ‘Islam is a peaceful religion’? And it is all for the purpose of advancing their god, Allah.

This is exactly what we see today

The position that every nation will fall to Antichrist is impossible since the Bible clearly states that some will even resist the Antichrist and even defeat him. The verses are rarely discussed. In Ezekiel 28, it even confirms that the most powerful nations (strongest fortresses) on earth will annihilate the Antichrist:

“Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of [them that are] slain in the midst of the seas.” (Ezekiel 28:7-8)

“They” pertains to these powerful nations and the term “terrible” implies to being “terrible in battle,” “most powerful,” “strongest fortresses.” God will rise up several nations who will carry out His judgment and attack the Antichrist in the end. Therefore, it cannot be true that every nation of the globe will fall to the Antichrist and attack Israel. There have always been attempts to establish a One-World Government, yet they have never succeeded; far too many in the West fail to remember that God divided the nations after the Tower of Babel to never allow them to be one; even in the Millennium we will still have nations separated. This promise is as the rainbow for Noah.

Too many today read the Bible narcissistically. Many books have been written that place the West at the center of prophecy and interpret history through a Western-centric lens. Far too many Westerners have missed the obvious fact that the Bible is thoroughly Middle Eastern. In the Biblical worldview, Jerusalem is the center of the earth, not Europe or America. The biblical prophecies about the End-Times are no different.
