Horae Apocalypticae

Horae Apocalypticae

Horae Apocalypticae is an escatological study written by Edward Bishop Elliott. The book is, as its long-title sets out, A commentary on the apocalypse, critical and historical; including also an examination of the chief prophecies of Daniel illustrated by an apocalyptic chart, and engravings from medals and other extant monuments of antiquity with appendices, containing, besides other matter, a sketch of the history of apocalyptic interpretation, the chief apocalyptic counter-schemes and indices. Horae Apocalypticae (Hours with the Apocalypse) is doubtless the most elaborate work ever produced on the Apocalypse.

Barack Obama Prophecies

Barack Obama in Prophecy : in the years 1980-1990 there was a book about the prophecies of Nostradamus mentioning a black American President. There are at least eight biblical reasons why Barack Obama may lead the United States to fulfill the predictions in the Apocalypse (also known as the Book of Revelation) and Barack Obama’s name is found in the Torah Code !

And that there are many older writings that indicate that Barack Hussein Obama may set the United States up for utter destruction!

Kenyan Prophet Johanwa Owalo’s – 100-year old prophecy

So far have they [the United States] strayed into wickedness in those [future] times that their destruction has been sealed by my [father]. Their great cities will burn, their crops and cattle will suffer disease and death, their children will perish from diseases never seen upon this Earth, and I reveal to you the greatest [mystery] of all as I have been allowed to see that their [the United States] destruction will come about through the vengeful hands of one of our very own sons.

Obama could appear to be the fulfillment of this prophecy as he is, indeed, a ‘son’ of the Kenyan Luo tribal religion.

The Prophecies of Dannion Brinkley

THE PROPHECIES OF DANNION BRINKLEY

In 1975, during a thunderstorm, Dannion Brinkley was talking on the telephone when a bolt of lightning hit the phone line, sending thousands of volts into his head and down through his body. Brinkley was thrown across the room, and later reported seeing his lifeless body spread prone, as his then girlfriend found him and paramedics arrived. Obviously disoriented, in his spirit-form above the scene, he wondered what the excitement was about, since (as he put it) “Everybody was okay….” He saw auras around everybody in the room except his own body below — a pretty big hint that he was, in fact, dead.

As doctors pronounced Brinkley dead at the local hospital, he reportedly found himself — or, more specifically, his spirit-self – traveling through a dark tunnel toward an angelic being who led him into a crystal city. There, he entered a cathedral of knowledge where he was shown 13 visions, contained in what he termed “boxes.” So-called “beings of light” also showed him 117 glimpses of possible future events, of which 95 have come to pass (by his count) in early 1998.

Brinkley revived in the morgue some 28 minutes after his death and later gave a personal account of his near-death experience (NDE) in the book, ”Saved by the Light”, first published in 1995.

As recounted in the book, the events of that day changed Brinkley’s life. He spent many months recovering from the physically debilitating effects of the electrical blast, while at the same time discovering mind-reading abilities that, while lessening over time, remain with him to this day. A second near-death experience, a few years later, reunited Brinkley with his angelic teachers, who revealed he was to use his psychic gifts to help the dying.

Another book, ”At Peace in the Light,” soon followed. In September 1997, Brinkley was hospitalized with life threatening brain aneurysms. Despite medical opinions to the contrary, he miraculously survived. During that time, he had a third near-death experience. Besides lectures and book signings, Dannion Brinkley currently does hospice work — using his experiences and gifts to help those who are nearing, and perhaps fear, death.

Visions of Dannion Brinkley

Thirteen prophetic visions as seen by Dannion Brinkley. He refers to them as “Boxes of Knowledge” in his book, “Saved By The Light” which was published in 1994 after he suffered a near death experience.

  • Boxes of Knowledge 1 to 3 : Visions of a Demoralized Country
  • Boxes of Knowledge 4 to 5 : Strife & Hatred in the Holy Lands
  • Boxes of Knowledge 6 : Visions of Nuclear Destruction
  • Boxes of Knowledge 7 : The Environmental Religion
  • Boxes of Knowledge 8 to 9 : China Battles Russia
  • Boxes of Knowledge 10 to 11 : Economic Earthquakes and Desert Storm
  • Boxes of Knowledge 12 : Technology & Virus
  • Boxes of Knowledge 13 : The Final Visions

The Apocalypse of John

The Revelation to John

An astronomic historical Investigation is the title of the German edition of the 1905 book by the Russian astronomer Nikolai Alexandrovich Morozov.

  1. The weekday of the event is named explicitly : Rev. 1,10: I was in the Spirit on Sunday.
  2. The description of the skies starts quite systematically at the pole with a constellation named Throne (today: Ursa Minor) : Rev. 4,2: And a throne was set in heaven.
  3. The text continues mentioning the Milky Way and the signs of the zodiac denoting the four seasons: Lion, Taurus, Sagittarius and Eagle (today: Aquarius): Rev. 4,6-7: And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
  4. The four horses were interpreted by Morozov as traditional metaphors for the planets Jupiter, Mars, Mercury and Saturn. The constellations Sagittarius, Perseus, Libra and Scorpion were sitting on them : Rev. 6,2: And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow. Rev. 6,4: And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Rev. 6,5: And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. Rev. 6,8: And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
  5. Sun and Moon were named explicitly. The only female character within the zodiac is Virgo : Rev. 12,1: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.
  6. As a Harlot, the planet Venus will be blamed, eventually. Venus, the symbol of female eroticism, united with the red star Antares (Anti-Mars) within the constellation Scorpion: Rev. 17,3-4: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.
